Terms & Conditions of Booking |

Please read the flowing terms and conditions that apply to all holidays at El Sanctuario before completing the booking form.
Booking Conditions : All holidays
All prospective guests must email or telephone us to check availability of holiday dates prior to completing and sending the booking form.

After reading these terms and conditions, please ensure that you sign your booking form to acknowledge that you accept the terms and conditions of your booking. Failure to do so will mean that your booking will not be processed.
If you plan to come on your holiday with other guests, or are organising a group booking, please ensure that all members of the group complete and sign a booking form. If you are the organiser of a group, you may send a cheque to cover all the deposits due from members of your group or they may pay individually. When checking availability of your holiday date, please provide the names of other members of your group. In this way, we are able to ‘match’ with your group, deposits that come to us individually.
Where you are opting to pay by cheque, bank transfer or banker’s draft, we will send you instructions for payment on receipt of your booking form.
We require a deposit of £100 for all five nights and seven nights’ holidays. On receipt of your booking form and deposit, you will receive confirmation of your booking and an invoice for the balance of the holiday fee. The balance fee of your booking should be paid, by your selected method of payment, by no later than ten weeks before your date of departure.
Please note that bookings made less than ten weeks before the date of departure, and for all long weekend holidays of three or four nights, the full fee is required on booking. , It is in guests’ own interests that they take out comprehensive travel insurance which includes general medical cover, loss or damage to personal property, and cancellation fees.
Liability El Sanctuario does not accept liability for any delays, inconvenience or costs incurred to guests as a result of any of the following:- · Closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, or other events beyond our control · Medical conditions, unexpected illness or injury · Loss or damage to guests’ personal property
Cancellations Should guests cancel their holiday, for any reason, the following cancellation fees apply:-
More than ten weeks before departure - deposit forfeited Six-ten weeks before departure - 50% of full fee Four-six weeks before departure - 75% of full fee Less than four weeks before departure - 100% of full fee.
Pamper Breaks
Pamper weeks run from Saturday-Saturday or Tuesday-Tuesday. Guests should arrive at the villa after 4 pm, vacate their rooms by 10 am and leave the villa by 2 pm on the day of departure.
Pamper short breaks Three night breaks normally run from Thursday-Sunday, Friday-Monday, or Saturday- Tuesday; four night breaks from Friday-Tuesday or Tuesday-Saturday; five night breaks from Monday-Saturday or Tuesday to Sunday. Guests arriving for short breaks of three days should arrive at the villa after 12 pm, vacate their rooms by 12 pm and leave the villa by 5 pm on the day of departure. Guests arriving for four-five day breaks should arrive at the villa after 2 pm, vacate their rooms by 12 pm and leave the villa by 5 pm on the day of departure.
All guests arriving early may leave their suitcases at the villa but will not have access to their rooms until the designated times. For such guests, we normally recommend that they take lunch at one of the nearby beach restaurants. Guests vacating their rooms by 10 am or 12pm may leave their suitcases at the villa until the time of departure for the airport and may also wish to consider taking lunch at one of the beach restaurants. We normally make one bathroom available to guests after they have vacated their rooms. They may use seating in the courtyard or garden between the hours of 12 pm and 5 pm, or the sun loungers on the pool terrace where they are not required by in-coming guests.

Fees for customised Activity Holidays include:-

Activity 3/4/5 night breaks Accommodation in twin bedded rooms Daily breakfast 3 night breaks 1 evening meal with wine, 1 lunch with wine 4 night breaks 1 evening meal, 2 lunches with wine 5 night breaks 2 evening meals, 2 lunches with wine
Any chosen activities are booked by us and paid for in euros by the guests themselves to the companies involved. Please see the Activity Breaks page for details. Please note that we are not responsible for any activities booked with other companies. However, we do use reputable companies and have not had, to date, any complaints about their services.
Fees for Genealogy Holidays include:-
· 7 nights accommodation in twin bedded rooms · Daily breakfast · 2 evening meals with wine · 4 lunches with wine & 1 packed lunch · Three x 2.5 hours group courses on methods and techniques in tracing your ancestors. The sessions will also include a wealth of tips, for example, strategies for finding your more ‘elusive’ ancestors. (Mornings: Sun, Tues, Weds, 10-12.30) · Two x 2 hours of paired tuition and two x 2 hours of individual tuition on applying the techniques you have learned and developing your own family history booklets with accompanying photos and documents. · A copy of Jane’s ‘Tracing Your Ancestors’ Booklet
Fees for all holidays do not include:-
Flights to/from Malaga airport Holiday Insurance Transport to/from Malaga airport. Guests may choose to take the airport bus to Marbella then taxi to El Sanctuario or we can arrange transport to/from the airport at competitive rates. Please contact us for details. Beach/pool towels (you will need to bring your own) Single room supplement (£75 per week; £60: five nights; £45: four nights; £35: 3 nights) Any soft/alcoholic drinks that may be supplied other than with meals Organised sporting activities/day trips/transport to/from activities*
*The tennis club is within walking distance of the villa. Coach day trips pick up guests from a bus stop within walking distance of the villa. For transport to golf courses and the port for sea fishing, we can normally arrange low cost transport or guests may wish to consider car hire for the duration of their stay. Hire cars can be picked up/dropped off at the airport and there are two companies that we normally recommend to guests.
Gift Packages
Standard Gift Package includes:- Birthday or Anniversary card for the relevant person/couple Large birthday or anniversary cake One half bottle of Cava per guest and one bottle each for the person or couple celebrating the special occasion One box of chocolates providing a generous number of chocolates per guest
Special Gift Package includes:- Breakfast on the day of the special occasion (or a day selected by the appropriate guest) of Cava with orange juice, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, toast, strawberries (when in season) or a melon, pineapple and kiwi fruit salad, tea and coffee Birthday or Anniversary card for the relevant person or couple Large birthday or anniversary cake One half bottle of Cava per guest and one bottle each for the person or couple celebrating the special occasion One box of chocolates providing a generous number of chocolates per guest One bunch of flowers or a gift of equivalent value for the relevant person/couple Photographs of the breakfast and the afternoon Cava and cake ‘event’ recorded digitally and sent by email attachment to all guests following the holiday.
To suit other special occasions than those described above, guests may choose a customised package to the value of our Standard or Special Gift Packages.
